|
Good Shepherd Lutheran Foundation The Good Shepherd Lutheran Foundation is a nonprofit organization serving The Good Shepherd Community. The Foundation seeks gifts, manages resources and makes grants to improve services and expand programs that enrich the quality of life for those in Good Shepherd's care. The Good Shepherd Community ministers to the whole person based on values of service, trust, compassion and respect. We strive to provide a safe, healthy, comfortable and fulfilling life for those in our care-whether they are in our nursing home, memory care cottages, apartments or still in their own home. Our staff and volunteers are dedicated to demonstrating Christ's love and humility by attending to the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of older adults at all stages of aging. Generous financial support of businesses, organizations and people like you help continue this ministry with much-needed funds not fully provided by insurance companies, Medicare, Medicaid or other forms of government assistance. From safety equipment to warm blankets to special events to building new facilities, the Foundation is privileged to work closely with Good Shepherd staff, residents and volunteers to take that extra step in helping residents feel truly at home.
