Happily Ever After

Some say home is where your heart is.  For those who know Phillip and Della Stavos, home is definitely where your "sweetheart" is.

When Della's memory loss was such that Phillip needed help caring for her, he called Shepherd of Grace Cottages.  She is now getting around-the-clock care and is thriving in the comfortable, safe and family-like atmosphere.

And Phil isn't far away.  He is able to spend a lot of time with Della often because he lives in the independent living apartments on the same campus.

"It's only a short walk to come see her," says Phil.  "It's good for me and it's good for her."

Phil can also be found volunteering around the Shepherd of Grace campus and participating in group activities.

"It's great here-I can walk to see Della, walk to church, walk to dinner, without even going outside," said Phil.  "It's a great place to be."
