Good Shepherd Lutheran Home

Good Shepherd Lutheran Home is the cornerstone of The Good Shepherd Community campus.  It is a 162-bed skilled nursing facility that has grown and expanded over the years to provide a wide variety of short-term and long-term care services including:

ACE Care (subacute)-intensive nursing  and/or rehabilitative care usually following a hospitalization, illness or injury
Rehabilitation Care-physical, occupational or speech therapy
Respite Care-typically 30 days or less providing caregivers a break
Hospice/Palliative Care-inpatient, respite or palliative end of life care
Memory Care-secure Special Care Unit for those with advanced memory loss

Good Shepherd Lutheran Home uses an interdisciplinary approach to caring for residents that includes your physician, social services, dietitian, nursing, therapeutic recreation, and rehabilitaion staff.  Residents and families remain actively involved in this care planning process.  Spiritual care is also part of the holistic approach to caring for residents with a wide variety of opportunities available.  Many recreational and therapeutic activities are offered during the day, evening and weekends to meet individual resident's creative, spiritual, recreational and social needs.  Families are always welcome to join in the fun!
