At Home Among Friends

When Betty Klingler's daughter, Peggy, got the news that her mom's dementia was advancing, she knew her mom needed more care than she could provide.

"After visiting, we knew the Shepherd of Grace Memory Care Cottages is where she needed to be," said Peggy.

Betty now lives in a private room at the Cottages, where she enjoys listening to music and playing cards.  She also enjoys spending time in the living room, visiting with other residents and staff.

"It's such a relief to know she has plenty of people around her," said Peggy.

For Peggy, her favorite part of Betty's move to Shepherd of Grace is the change in her attitude.  Betty, on the other hand, has her own opinion.

"I really like it here, the people are so nice," said Betty.  "But the food is the best.  It's better than any restaurant."
