Home Instead Senior Care Plays Santa

Home Instead Senior Care, a local agency that offers caregiver services to the older adult population all over the country, coordinated a local program over the holiday season; Be A Santa To A Senior.  Home Instead Senior Care has been doing this for 5 years; this is the first year the local Waite Park and Willmar offices participated.  A Christmas tree was displayed in Cashwise of Waite Park with names of seniors and items they would like/need for Christmas.  Participants would take a name off the tree and buy the item and drop it off at Cashwise or Home Instead.  Around 120 seniors were served through the Waite Park and Willmar offices.  Home Instead partnered with seven senior care facilities in the area such as Good Shepherd Community.  The Good Shepherd Community would like to thank Home Instead Senior Care for making it a special christmas season for those living on Memory Lane.  Each community member on Memory Lane received a new robe through the program.  The Good Shepherd Community would also like to thank Cashwise and all those who participated in this year's program by buying for the seniors.
